In the Product team, everything revolves around which game ideas make it into our road map for the coming year.

We study data and trends in the iGaming market and stay in close dialogue with our international partners to ensure our products are as successful as possible.
Dealing intensively with numbers and with lots of different types of people makes for an extremely varied job that is very fulfilling.

Which film is a must-see for you?
Money Monster or Liberty Stands Still. They’re both great films 🎬 because they don’t just rely on special effects; rather they build up tension through dialogue and plot. There’s a strong storyline, not just random explosions intended to distract the audience.

Which superpower would you like to have?
Just one? The power to stop ⏰ time!...

Which film is a must-see for you?

Which superpower would you like to have?
Just one? The power to stop ⏰ time! Other superpowers all come with certain disadvantages.

If you were a city, which would you be and why?
I think I’d be Tokyo. It’s a beautiful city 🌆 with a huge population. Having grown up in a big city, I can’t imagine living in a small town, despite the masses of people. In Tokyo, everything runs smoothly. Everything is civilized and orderly. The people there are more considerate of one another in public – that’s Japanese culture.

What would you do if you didn’t have to work for a living?
I would write. I’m always coming up with new ideas for books 📚 or comics. I used to write short stories, but nowadays I don’t have enough time to finish them and write them down. Yes, I’d definitely write for fun.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love numbers, and have done since 🏫 school. GAMOMAT was one of the few companies in Berlin looking for mathematicians to really apply maths. It’s very rare to find a true mathematician who uses maths in their work. Finding formulas, figuring something out, calculating combinations, stochastic processes, discrete mathematics… Lots of companies recruiting for mathematicians really just want a basic programmer or someone to input numbers into Excel spreadsheets.

What is your fridge always stocked with?
Water and Nutella. My water 💧 has to be cold, otherwise I can’t drink it. And I need my Nutella for breakfast.

What are your bad habits?
Are there any I don’t have?! I am a chocoholic 🍫 and I also have to stop myself from constantly correcting people’s grammar or finishing their sentences if they’re struggling to find the right word. I’m also fairly messy, generally speaking. My workspace is full of stuff. I’m the stereotypical untidy mathematician. I don’t feel right if I’m somewhere super clean and tidy. I need a little mess to relax.

Books or fruit?
Books.📚

What would you get up for in the middle of the night?
For Minky and my girlfriend.

What was the last TV show you spent a whole day binge-watching?
Love Sick. We actually watch a lot of TV and really enjoy Community, in particular.

Theoretically, I’ve made my hobby my job. I create 🪄 things, can hold the fruits of my labour in my hands afterwards, and that brings joy to me and other people.

What is your fridge always stocked with?
I used to always have to have milk 🥛 in my fridge. That was before. Now, it’s cold tea. In summer and winter.

What are your bad habits?
My girlfriend always says I move around too loudly. That I do everything loudly. I’m slowly starting to see that.😊

What would you get up for in the middle of the night?
My family.

What was the last TV show you spent a whole day binge-watching?
Vikings. I’m a big fan of Old Norse culture and mythology. I really like Vikings and could get cosy in front of the TV with my sheepskin and drinking horn.

Milk – fresh, low-fat milk. I mainly need it for (decaf) coffee. ☕🥛

I’m always getting lost, even in games 🎮, and sometimes I get a little too enthusiastic about things – that annoys people from time to time. 😓🛑

If somebody needed me. Family, friends. I’d get up any time for them. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

What was the last TV show you spent a whole day binge-watching?
Vikings. It has a meaty, exciting plot. And, of course… lots of extremely muscular men and strong women – I liked that. *laughs* 😂🛡️⚔️
